Blackline Operations is a high-end boutique consultancy focused on designing and implementing operating systems for businesses between 10 – 80 FTE.

About the founder

Blackline Operations was founded by Tom Mieremet to solve a problem he kept seeing in growing businesses: impressive ambitions held back by operational noise, unclear ownership and ad-hoc ways of working.

Over the years, Tom has worked in and with growth-stage companies in roles spanning operations, delivery and leadership. He has seen both sides: the excitement of rapid growth, and the drag that comes from fragmented processes, unclear responsibilities and constant firefighting.

Today, he works directly with founders and leadership teams to:

– Turn operations from a source of friction into a strategic asset.

– Design operating systems that are robust enough to scale, but simple enough for real teams to use.

– Create the conditions for sustainable growth: clearer focus, better decisions and more leadership capacity.
